Turns out I thought I had a plan, but in reality my plan had me.
The illusion of control is dangerous and reassuring – a constant amidst chaos.
Sometimes I feel like I’m searching for something that only exists in my mind, even though my perception of reality seems grounded enough that no part of me would be up in the clouds –
but sometimes I am pure helium, ballooning my way up into the sky for an adventure, high above the clouds until all the lights that blind me are just mere tiny dots and specks back down on Earth.
